This painting was inspired by a walk on an early morning during a time of a lot of change in my life. The light was just starting to give the sky some soft color, but the lamp glow was still holding its nighttime vigil.
The name of this piece is inspired by Bill Smith, who built the Old Mill District. His terms included that light in the district could not exceed 2200 Kelvin - hence the soft warm glow all around.
